Setting of a story (Your guess)...

Finally! After all these years of hard of hard work, the power to time travel is in my grasp! I stared, awed with the concoction in my right hand, a sense of achievement within me. I tilted my head back and gulped the horrid potion whole. As my mind was in a whirl, I felt the comfort of my research facility leaving me. The next thing I knew, I was standing on hard, coarse sand, once again smelling the cold, crisp Egyptian outdoor air. I basked in the warmth from the sun. In the distance, against the hue of blue and some strange buildings in the distance, were three grand pyramids, partially crumbled, yet majestic. Hey! Wasn’t my buddy Pharaoh Sneferu working on one of them? There was only one thing I knew. I was in the future!

  1. You introduced your story to go to the future, maybe you did not know how to go back to present time and wanted to find a ways to go back. While doing this, you encounter many challenges and obstacles. But at the same time you managed to make new friends.

  2. Hi Greg. Your picture is interesting. I see you admire the Egyptians and their pyramids very much. Perhaps this story is about you having traveled to the pass and then in the end decided to go back to present time. So you made a potion that allows you to do that and you drank it, got back to present time, which in this case should be 2000BC, and you find that something is wrong.

  3. I think your story would be about you travelling to the future accidentally leaves something there which changes history so it would be about how dangerous changing history would be

  4. Your introduction is really interesting! I think your story could be about time travelling however there are some defects after time travelling like a change in size, age or maturity. Therefore creating a more realistic yet interesting story!

  5. Actually the story I had planned out is the combination of Khang Zhie's and Kenneth's. I would have accidentally broke my return potion, thus my quest to find the formula once more, as I go, getting a 'tour' around modern Egypt. I made new friends. When I go back, I realised that everything is going wrong for me and I decided to head back to the future to live the rest of my life there, thus eradicating myself from the books of history.
